SCAN Awareness and Fundraising Campaign

The Markitecture team was asked by Stop Child Abuse Now of Northern Virginia (SCAN) to develop a social media marketing campaign to create awareness around the issue of child abuse, in addition to increasing donations toward their mission of preventing child abuse.

Markitecture developed a multi-faceted paid social media campaign to reach key target audiences. Tracking was put in place on all the ads/posts to help determine which messages and graphics had the greatest impact and resulted in the most engagement. Messaging was developed in a three-phase approach designed to bring consumers through the funnel from unaware to engaged to donating.

Two unique creative approaches were launched initially. Closer Than You Think used child abuse statistics to bring awareness of how common child abuse really is, and It Can Be Stopped focused on testimonials from SCAN volunteers about the importance of prevention and being able to make an impact on the lives of children affected by child abuse.
